In October 2002 Transatlantic Express showcased the best of music, art, fashion and film from England's Northwest in a 10 day programme of 23 events in New York.
A second series of events were staged in October 2003, when once again Liverpool and Manchester's best musicians, artists, fashion designers and film-makers hit the streets of New York from a base within Chelsea's ultra-hip Maritime Hotel!
The event was designed as a unique blend of trade mission and showcase, with a series of live music events from the likes of Grand Central, Faith & Hope, and Twisted Nerve and a fashion showcase featuring some of the regions best designers - such as Elvis Jesus, Electricity and Bonnie & Clyde.
